Rear brake caliper retratction tool Q's Posted by Chadwick [Email] (#569) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Chadwick) on Thu, 12 Apr 2007 00:00:46 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hey there,
I'm doing rear brakes on a clients 03 9-3 Linear and I'm aware that I'm going to need a tool to turn and compress the rear caliper piston. I have the part number from WIS but my dealer wont sell me the tool (should I be surprised?). I've heard about people using a universal tool from a chain auto parts store, any info on that? I have the tool for the 87 c900's, but I'm just looking to add this one to the growing collection...
Also, the fronts are basically the same in pad changing procedure as a 9000, early 9-3, or 9-5 from what I see in WIS, is that correct?
Sorry if these questions are a bit elementary, but I'm just starting to get clients with sports sedans whose warranties are running out and I haven't had much exposure to them.
Thanks and Regards,
Chad
