Hi GMC,
I went to Auto Zone, where they rented me the whole kit to turn back the caliper pistons. It had many sizes, so I got a little lucky and got one to work even though it wasn't quite perfect. You need one with 2 pins, with 20 mm center to center spacing and pin size is about 3/16 ", if I remember correctly. You can measure the exact pin size when you disassemble the calipers. Alternatively, and this is on another post, you can purchase an adjustable pin spacer, which looks like a scissors and locks the pins in place once you have set them where you want them, but it might be too bulky to fit in there to do the job. They run $28 and up - one source is use-enco.com. A cheap method is to get a larger needle-nose pliers, with blunt ends or you can file the ends blunt, then use it as a rather crude tool to turn back the piston. I put the Auto Zone tool on a 3/8 ratchet and turned it back, but don't turn it back past flush, because you still need to leave enough room to clip the inboard brake pad over the detents on the piston.
On my car, on the driver side, either it has seized or I just need to try again. If any expert can help us with this (Swedecar ?), please do so.
