I found the key. Six weeks later. Get a load of this. Earlier in the week I broke down and scheduled an appointment for this fix... a thousand dollars for 3 new keys and module at the dealership, taking everyones advice into consideration. This appointment was for next tuesday. My wife and I were going out for dinner this evening and I got a glimps of the key in a small panel in the passenger door of our landcruiser wagon which some how got overlooked in all the previous searches. We were excited to say the least. If any of you are down to one key please make getting another a priority. My wife, who cant remember placing the key there, is 8 months pregnant and is happy to go in first thing monday to take care of this. We just hope nothing happens to this key between now and then. Were guarding it closley. You dont realize the signifiance of a single item until you loose it. Thank you Larry in Seattle.
