Is there any risk that the on-board computer on an '07 9-3 SC will get messed up in some way if I install the auto-dimming interior mirror in the vehicle? After all, Saab doesn't even offer this as an OPTION for the 2.0T (although they do offer it for the Aero).
And when I asked the salesmen if it could be installed, they seemed skeptical and indicated they wouldn't want to be responsible for the consequences if I installed this kind of "non-spec" equipment in my vehicle. On the other hand, the parts guys seem prepared to order the part for me and install it, so I am wondering . . . .
Electrical gremlins seem to be something to watch out for when you own a Saab, and I don't want to give those gremlins any incentive to start acting up in my car.
