I purchased an 07 9-3 Aero in June. I park the car to get a slice of Pizza and return to find it will not start (I have radio, horn, etc. I put thye fob in the ignition and nothing. Call Saab roadside. They advise somebody will get back to me in 5 -10 minutes. I wait 45 minutes without hearing anything. I call back and they dont have a reference number for me (phone number). I give them the number and they say that somebody must be working on the incident. After an hour I am advised that a flat bed will be responding in an hour to hour and a half. After exactly an hour and a half the flat bed arrives. The driver advises me that he is going to take the car to his yard and tow the car to the dealer tomorrow. I advise him that this is not acceptable. I phoned my dealer and they were going to look at the car first thing in the morning. The driver advises me that he worked this out with Saab. He further advises there is no place to leave the key if the dealer is closed. I call Saab roadside back. They state that they said no such thing. The flat bed driver is now saying that I should hang up and he will tow it to the dealer. He advises me that I should have purchased a Volvo and jokes that I just screwed him and he might not put the straps on the car (for towing). I advise him he can unload the car. He says you have to learn to take a joke. After 2 hours im in no mood for joking. I ask the flat bed guy if he is taking it to my dealer and he gives me an attituide and says " can I have dinner first". Driver does not offer me a ride (I wasnt going to ask). I walk 2 miles home. What really stinks is the dealer was closed at 6:00 P.M. No loaner car. Really bad experience with a BRAND NEW CAR.
