Just picked up a 2007 Chili Red SportCombi. I rather enjoy it. This compliments the 2002 9-5 Aero SportCombi (Detroit-Swedish for wagon) which is arguably more refined.
We went simple with the 9-3 SportCombi and only added heated seats, headlight washers, and the roof rack. I really enjoy the manual transmission. It is a big step up from the older manuals and better than that of the Honda I had back in 1993. I could never launch the Honda smoothly.
I love what they have done with the Parchment leather interior and the controls. The stereo is a bit boomy and undefined but likely better than that in the 9-5. My wife and kids will enjoy the aux input for their Ipod and/or portable DVD player.
My only complaint is some wind noise from the roof cross bars. I think I'll need the wind deflector that I had on my old 9-3SE.
Some lucky person will end up with my old 1999 9-3SE. It rarely broke and I was continually getting compliments on the nice condition it was in.
