Yes it was bound to happen. The cheesy little plastic lugs that attach to the carpet to hold the floor mats in place have come apart on the driver’s side. I am sure they will be covered under the warranty but will be replaced with the same cheesy little lugs. Once off warranty I'll have to replace them my self as I wont pay the dealer to pull up the carpet insert the plastic receiver that the lug screws into, replace the carpet and screw on the plastic lug. Looking at the carpet installation this would be a minimum of one hour to pull up repair and replace. Any recommendations on a better engineered Lug that won’t come apart after 6 months of use?
