What a devastating outcome for you and your Saab. It is stuff like this that makes me my head spin and question my judgement in purchasing a Saab. It is beyond me that a dealer cannot track where the problems are. The selling points are the advanced technologies built into these cars, but there are way too many stories of not being able to find the gremlins once a problem occurs. I was on a road trip with my wife recently and while discussng our '06 9-3 ARC I remembered your problem and I clearly instructed her to never jump another car or have the car jumped if the battery should die but have it taken to the Saab dealer through road side assist. Sorry to hear about the outcome it just isn't right, I assume the dealer low balled the fairmarket value on your trade and you lost a bunch there as a result.
