Stereo Dead after Battery Change

After experiencing catostrophic failure of my electrical, we tied it to the battery. As the dealers are closed weekends, I had it changd so I could get the car home. Now, I get no response when I hit the stereo power button. Do I need to obtain a lockout code due to the battery change? Or is it the stereo button itself?
Thx
