It's a little more involved than you might think. The plastic splashguard underneath the engine is connected to the Aero front spoiler by plastic rivet-like fasteners. Since the splashguard extends further forward to accommodate the Aero spoiler, I think it is not feasible to retrofit a '06-'07 2.0T spoiler to the Aero. The 2.0T spoiler is recessed compared to the Aero spoiler, and the Aero engine splashguard sticks out about 3in further to accommodate the Aero spoiler. You'd likely have to replace the splashguard to add the 2.0T spoiler. I don't think it's as easy as swapping them out (but I could be wrong).
That's my guess. I had my Aero SC front spoiler split down the middle with a high speed collision with a tire shard on the highway at night. I had similar thoughts of replacing it with a2.0T spoiler as well, but quickly dismissed it after discovering the dilemma. I've since had it replaced with another Aero spoiler.
You can, however-add the Aero spoiler to a 2.0T.
