My '03 had all new rotors and pads put on this summer and in less than 2 months, my right rear pads and rotor needed to be replaced. The caliper had frozen up and melted my pads in no time. You didn't mention if this was a Saab dealer or not. The reason I say this is I had mine replaced by a GM dealer who I don't think was familiar with Saab calipers. They take a special tool to retract the piston. I think the GM tech used a C-clamp instead of the special tool because my boot had a couple of rips in it. I asked the second mechanic who was a Saab tech if dirt and debris got into the boot, could it seize the piston. He said that it was possible.
