who is the most compulsive with motor oil?

The topic has been talked about to death. However, here's a different twist. Rather than say "is it ok to go this long?", how about this?
What is the most compulsive practice that you do with motor oil? Maybe I can either learn something or become even more compulsive!
1. I used to change oil every 90 days, even with low mileage. The record was a change after 900 miles. Now with synthetic, I no longer have the compulsion to do it that often. Now I based the change on miles with a one year minimum change.
2. I try to get the same lot number for each oil change. Even though the difference between lots is probably small and having one lot is putting all your eggs in one basket, I like the idea of exactly the same oil in each bottle.
3. I am both impatient and like to get every drop drained. So it's a constant internal battle between putting the drain plug when "enough oil" has drained versus leaving it drip for an hour.
Back to the mileage question, does anyone change their oil more frequently than every 5,000 mi (8,000 km)?
