My Wife's 03 9-3 has a bad Onstar CUPU(communications Position Unit)which was drawing on the battery when the car is turned off. We were never subscribers of this service and now that the analog service is discontinued, we really don't have a use for it. The dealership who my wife went to wants to replace the unit for $862+ labor. In the time being they disconnected the unit but doing so, she has lost functions of her Radio/CD play and turn signal . Is there a "work around" that we can do to keep the Onstar unit disabled but still have functionality of the Radio/CD player and turn signal noise? Information
