OnStar Functionality on 2008 9-3 Convertible

I have just taken delivery of my 2008 convertible ordered from the factory. During the delivery process, my sales person told about the year of free OnStar which included the unlock feature and the ability to receive a monthly diagnostic report via email on the car.

However, when I did the registration via the Blue OnStar button the agent told me that the EM option was not available on the 9-3 Saab but they could give me the report verbally if I pressed the OnStar button and asked for it. The agent also said that the remote unlock feature would be available if I ever locked myself out of the car.

A couple of days later, I received an email confirming my OnStar registration. The email pointed me to my account information on the web. Poking around online I found info stating that the Saab 9-3 had neither unlock or diagnostic info available. It did not differentiate between the 2008 and previous year models.

My sales person is working on this but I wanted to check here as well. Does anyone know what is available with the basic OnStar service for a 2008 Saab Convertible with Nav?
