Oil Monitor told me it was TIME FOR SERVICE and the percent meter read 0% and the mileage was 5994. I tend to drive the car aggressively except when I'm nearly out of gas.
Brought it in, they changed the oil and when I checked as I drove the car home, it said 77%. Really doesn't bother me if the next free oil change comes before I drive another 6000 miles just that it makes sense that the meter should read 100% as I drive out of the dealer, who tries to make me believe it should read 77% - with the explanation that the one they did yesterday read the same thing when they changed the oil for the first time on another 07 SS.
DUH.
