Both the issues are common.

Alarm: when you open the trunk with the remote, it doesn't pop open enough to let the car know it's open. The car just gets a bit confused. If you pop the trunk and immediately lift the lid (say within a couple of seconds) the alarm will not go off. If you pop the trunk from far away and then lift the lid after a longer delay, then the alarm will go off. The easiest fix is to get some trunk stops that are used on the convertibles that push the trunk open by about half an inch, just enough to clear the alarm sensor. Unfortunately, in the 2006 sedans the holes for these trunk stops are no longer there and will need to be drilled out; the previous model years has these holes drilled. For example, in my 2004 sedan all I needed to do was pull out the rubber cover and put the trunk stops in. So it can be 'fixed' or you can just remember to unlock the car before opening the trunk or delay popping the trunk until you are ready to open it immediately.

Radio presets: what is happening is that on preset 3 or 4, the RDS (Radio Data System - the signal that the radio station sends out to display the station name or song title) has been modified from when you programmed the preset. So again, the car gets confused. It thinks it is no longer on preset 3 or 4 (or any other offending preset) and resets to preset 'one' when you click 'next'. The fix is to reprogram the preset that is confusing the car. Once you do this, it should work as designed until the RDS is changed again. You will likely run into this is the radio station changes owners, format, or it begins to to transmit RDS when it did not previously. About once a year I find I have to reprogram a station or two because of this. There is no need to reprogram every station, just the preset that 'confuses' the car.

Unfortunately, there are no real warranty fixes as the car is acting as designed. Just use the above work-arounds. Hope this helps!
