I've been down this research path for months.
Using the same size and putting Dunlop Wintersport 3D's on same size with an H rating. I liked it because it had the highest rating from customer feedback. Might be marketing, but I've had Blizzaks, and Michelins in the past. We'll see. The price is the same.
SAAB has an official rim that fits the Turbo X (name escapes me) SAAB pn# 12780082 but the pic of a new SAAB convertable in show with the sunflowers is the same rim I believe. It's a twin/5spoke where the spoke are semi twisted parabolic something - a - magigs :) I have a pic of it.
I'm in MASS. Yea we have some bad days but considering I drove FWD with only one major (stupid) issue for 25 years (including factory sized perf snows on an 9-5 aero wagon) I believe going WITH a perf snow will be just fine. I'll still be careful in snow (till I see how it handles) and on dry .. I'll have a huge smile
