The awful squeeking that you hear coming from the sunroof area is the result of the plastic sunroof trim rubbing against the thin plastic edge/rim to which it is secured. This squeeking can be eliminated by removing the trim, and then applying a single layer of tape (painter's tape or even masking tape) to the sharp plastic edge that is revealed when the trim is removed. To remove the trim, first remove the retainer that secures the sunroof trim at the rear of the car. Removing this retainer takes a bit of time, so just stick with it until it comes free. As you're working it out, wiggle it and don't be overly gentle. There isn't much to break. Once you've got it off, you'll see the exposed plastic edge that needs to be covered with tape. There are also a couple of metal tabs on the front edge of the trim that you may want to remove. They really don't do much to secure the front section of the trim, but I think they're another source of squeeking. I removed mine without any problems. After you've applied the tape, reinstall the plastic trim, being careful not to disturb your tape-job.
One other point: I can't stress enough how important it is cover all exposed contact areas with tape. Take your time and do it right the first time. Otherwise, you'll end up repeating the process...like me.
I fixed my squeekie sunroof over a year ago, and it's been squeek-free ever since. Interestingly, when I mentioned the fix to the mechanic at the Saab dealership, he showed absolutely no interest.
Good luck, and I hope this proves useful to you.
Brian
