Some time ago, I posted about a prominent rattle on my 2006 Aero SC that I thought was coming from my dashboard during cold weather. It lasted until the car warmed up, or if the temperature was above 50, the rattle was not evident. It was a hollow tin-like rattle and was described by a service tech as "very annoyting." I was happy that they finally heard it because it was indeed annoying.
After four visits to the dealer, they may have found it. Evidently the turbo inlet mounts on the core support were loose. Of course the weather is warm now, so I don't hear anything, but I think this was the problem. They also retorqued all the engine mounts and the suspension and cleaned the spring seats.
Fingers crossed.
