Not too familiar with the newer models - especially as I understand they do not use a separate idle valve but instead uses the TB as a "fly by wire" idle valve, but how about these ideas.

The idle adjustment is not set correctly - the throttle is closing too much or too much too fast (is there a dashpot on these models?). Some cars have dashpots to dampen the closing of the throttle so it doesn't shut off air so fast the fuel system cannot adjust in time.

The throttle position sensor (if there is one one these) is not set correctly - the ecu doesn't see the throttle closing so cannot adjust the air/fuel mix properly.

If you push the clutch in while keeping the throttle open just a touch, does it do the same thing, not as bad, or not at all?
