The pump is not the easiest to replace since you need to remove the starter first of all.
If you don't have a car hoist, it would be a challenge to lay on your back, trying to figure out where the bolts are hidden and you work by feel alone with most of it.
I guess they only charge 1.5 to 2 hours of labor and the rest if parts price.
It is a one year only part since they removed it in 2004 so I don't think you would be able to find too many sources with cheaper prices than the dealer.
I just did one this week and it came up to that price.
