?'s for 08 conv, and 04 sedan and comment on brakes

First of all got new brakes on 04 linear. Akebono pads and brembo rotors. No dust and braking power seems fine. Am very pleased. Bought pads at Rock Auto and rotors at Eeuroparts. Satisfied.
My question is with the 08 9-3 convertible seats and the 04 seats.
1. My 04 the manual drivers seat seems to lose the top setting and slinks lower then I have to readjust. Anything I can do to combat that or just keep cranking the seat to the top setting?
2. The 08 convertible leather seat seems to run out of leather at the base of the backrest near the seat area and does not go underneath and tuck in. Both the drivers and passenger seat do that. The 04 sedan does not. Is it supposed to show the stuffing underneath and not tuck all the way in?
Thanks
Anthony
