I've got an 03 9-3SS and I've had Saabs since the 80's. I just "sold" my '88 C900 hatch to someone who really knows and cares about them - the only good thing about the sale. I'm amazed at how much I miss that car - I keep hoping I'll blink and Saab will have brought that model back. My dog fit so much better in that car. I drove an 09 9-3 SC and was completely unimpressed with how cheesy the interior trim was, so I thought I'd look at Volvo. Haven't yet test driven them, but, every time I drive the 9-3 I love the way it drives and feels, so now I'm thinking that a later 9-3 SC model might be the way to go. Does anyone know what year the GM plastic became part of the Saab? The prices are amazing on the 08's, & they're Aeros, but if they're cheesy, yuck! This am just came across a couple 06 9-3 SC Aero's w/ amazingly low milage. Is 06 the last year of the Saab quality interior? Am I being too picky about the cheese factor? Am I being too loyal to my love of Saab and just switch to Volvo for the dog? Thanks for any & all input!!
