9-3 clock accuracy

The clock in my 2003 9-3 is about 2 minutes fast in two to three weeks. This is consistent. I have to reset the clock every couple weeks manually. Is this a common problem? Is there a known fix?
By the way, I bought one of those cup holders for the universal slot in the console, and it wasn't long until the "soft rubber" covering wore through.
I guess now that Saab is dead, there will never be any incentive to fix this stuff...
