There were a number of mostly minor teething issues on the 2003 MY cars - the most problematic being the coolant/transmission coupling issue. The various other issues that I can recall off the top of my head included: gas cap replacement; power window guide replacement; faded door handle replacement; rusty lug nut replacement; software updates for automatic transmission to minimize low speed surges; replacement of a certain brake component (forgot which one); soft-feel dash/knob replacement due to premature wear; steering wheel alignment; analog On-Star component replacement (though that is irrelevant now that the analog system is inactive).
Otherwise, and I kid you not, the car seems to get better with age. It drives better and gets better gas mileage than when it was new. When all of the initial problems were popping up, I was really down with the car and refused to buy another Saab for my second car (I bought a Volvo instead - which has been bullet proof - not a single problem in 3 years of ownership). Six years later - I really love the Saab - and hope it lasts and lasts.
Good luck with it.
