No Power Window or Lock, passenger front door

Thought maybe someone else would benefit from my findings. I recently resolved the above problem. Bot the power window and power door lock appeared to be totally dead on my passenger front door of my 2003 Vector.
The fact that both features began to act up at the same time, on the same door, made me suspect that this was not a problem with the regulator or door actuator. I searched around in the prior posts on this forum and found a partial solution related to just the window and took a chance. By disconnecting and reconnecting the electrical connector to that door, I was able to reset the control electronics associated with those functions and both the window and power locks are now functioning normally. The connector is located in the forward jamb of the door between the hinges.
This started happening out of the blue, but this car doesn't get used all that much and sits in the garage for long periods of time, including the entire New England winter. At one point the battery voltage got very low and would not start the car. I used a trickle charger to recover it (no jump starts), but in retrospect the low voltage may have caused the temporary insanity of the controls.
Hope this helps someone else.
