I plan on replacing the Pirelli P6 tires on my wife's 9-3SC with something more suitable for safe winter driving. Obviously Nokian WR-G2's are on the short list, but I discovered two other possible choices. "Vredestein Quatrac 3" and "Goodyear Vector 4 Season" tires. These tires will be on her car year-round due to low miles driven annually, and her job working for the schools (no work on the worst winter days).
Anyone know anything about the Vredestein or Goodyear models? One German winter tire test placed the Goodyear substantially above the WR-G2, which was substantially above the Vredestein, but this was a snow tire test which didn't place much emphasis on non-winter conditions.
Is the Goodyear model even available here, or is it a European choice only?
Thanks,
