name doesn't change, but things aren't the same

Well, after a 4-wk hiatus, I have an Aero again.
The 2002 9-5 Aero SW I bought new was taken out by a deer.
Found a 1999 9-5 SE(6) SW to take over the utility part of that car's function, but still lacking the fun part.
Just picked up a 2004 9-3 Aero, automatic, gray, all options.
During the test drives, the driver's window pinch-control kept it from staying up. It was up when I got it today, think I'll wait until I get it in garage tonight to recalibrate (approx. 12F outside).
Other than that, noticed a slight peeling of one HVAC button. Do those dash components remove as easily as the 9-5's? If so, maybe I'll try to remove, make template cover, apply some clear-coat finish (or matte, if available).
The rear passenger-side seat release in trunk is broken, that's the only other fault I've noticed. Hopefully not too much else will become evident.
