I bought this car at an auction. It had been in a wreck. Simptoms are when the battery is connected the odometer displays and the lights on the door locks are on. Break lights work if you depress the pedal. When you insert the key, it will not turn, it seems the ignition switch is stuck. I removed the ignition switch modual and there is a little motor underneath the switch that controls a little pin that locks the switch. The pin is in place. The battery has been tested at Autozone and it passed and charged. Before i buy a new switch, what should I try? Thanks.
