Thanks to everyone, especially DrewP, I bought a used divorced CIM for my 05 9-3. Towed it to the Saab Dealer and they married it up with the key that came with the used CIM. Bottom line is if you use a used CIM, it must have been divorced with a TECH2 and have the key that came with donor car's CIM. It starts up just fine, problems now: Tech said he could not communicate with the AMP1, ICM, EHU. I found a guy in New York (SaabRadio) that can fix all of them for under $1000. Also the Trunk Sensor that detects the trunk been closed is not working. The SID shows it open when it is fully closed. Finally the gas cap seems not to screw on, it freely spins.
