Replacement Coils

The 'updated' coils that you can buy as a replacement part have a different part number than the ones coming off the cars, I think the last 3 digits of the p/n on the original ones is -104, and the replacement ones are -112.
I don't think it's been long enough since this started happening to actually evaluate if they last longer than original.
I haven't looked into it myself, but I have read a few places that the coils failing under load and causing misfires like this is extremely common on the Euro Opel Vectra (or Calibra or whatever) cars that share the engine and Motronic ME9 system that's in the V6 9-3, might be something you want to look into in your spare time.
I have so few customers with the V6 Aero's that I haven't bothered to really dive into it myself, especially since the one guy who was here today is the only person who brings me a tuned one to play with at any reasonable interval, and I don't have anyone bringing me a Turbo-X yet.
