Maybe, maybe not. After body work has been done, you never know what to find if it is as easy as resetting the modules using the Tech or trying to find a pinched or missing wire. I would at least prepare the customer for 1 hour of fault tracing/resetting modules.
Man made problem is a lot worse to find than the ones the car comes up with them self.
Look closely if it is in fact the very outer brake light being illuminated or the inner one. For the untrained eye they might mistake it and that the real outer brake light bulb is actually burned out.
