Do as John says, check to see if the alternator is actually charging.

If it is not, the 9-3SS will generate all kinds of erroneous error messages on the SID if the system voltage starts dropping, because the modules start powering down.

I get cars in all the time with dead batteries that the first time you power it back up you get lots of system failure messages, then after a key cycle they all come back on line and everything is well and good in happyland.

You may also be experiencing unrelated problems, it's impossible for us to tell through the internet.

It's possible you just have a shorted cell in the battery too and the alternator is fine, but get it checked out.

Don't drive it if you can help it, it could damage the electrical system trying to limp it along with the modules not receiving enough power.
