At about 10K miles, the tires/wheels were changed to my snow tires/wheels. When I had those removed after last winter (April 1?), the tires/wheels were apparently rotated for the first time and I experienced the shimmy. The dealer rotated them back to their original positions. At the next service (30K) they were rotated again and shimmy returned. So, again, I had them returned to their original position and I don't see any unusual wear on the tires. Next week I am having the snow tires/wheels put back on for this winter and, based on my experince with the OEM tires, I am inclined to tell the dealer to put the snows on the same way they were taken off. Wonder if this has something to do with the XWD system workings.
