Well, back in the saab family. DId end up purchasing the convertible, and forgot how much I missed the car. Had it inspected by my indy mechanic and no major issues came up other than typical wear items. Have a couple of minor questions though. First, the bushings are very "loud" when cold, have better bushings come out that can replace these factory ones, as I remember same issue with my older 9-5. Second, there is a minor smell of antifreeze after it runs for a while, no leaks, no temp gauge rising, nothing obvious, so curious if this is an early sign of water pump issue or similar? Finally, since it is a convertible, will need some suspensions "cleanup" to stop the wallowing. I know that Abbot or similar made parts for my older models, and did a quick search but didnt see as much offered for the 04 models. Again, any direction is appreciated. IT has 123k, so I am sure it needs shocks all around, and will have fluids flushed, but did have the spring recall completed. Thanks again, and I look forward to being back on the network.
