tio barry is correct. If you buy just the rubber blade, it can be slid in. Just have to make sure that the rubber blade replacement is 'narrow' and not wide. I took the rubber blade out and to the store. Found a complete blade assembly that had a narrow rubber blade insert. (I bought a 24" blade so that I could just cut it in half and have a spare). 24" was only a couple of bucks more expensive than the smaller models.
