The only difference between the two is the hose/wire bracket on the front shocks. To fit the early dampers on the later car the koni bracket needs cutoff and reuse the factory one.
I notified koni of this change when we were fitting them to a Turbo-x. Nice being their Saab specialist and stocking dealer.
Now if its a XWD then the rear shocks are not a straight fit. Some simple spacer adaptors need added along with running FWD bump stops.
