ARC Convertible Suspension/Bushing search

finally found a convertible, 04 ARC. Been driving for a couple of months in upstate NY weather. The car has the typical, or so I though, bushing squeak, groan, I hate cold weather sounds from the front end. As I continue to drive it I am not convinced bushings, but is first convertible so not sure how much can be attributed to convertible vs sedan. The noises only typically occur at low speed, over bumps, doesnt seem to matter how high BUT is most noticeable when the front unweights up and down, and on really cold morning, can push down on the front end and have the "squeek" happen, but I dont get the typical bouncing rebound typical of bad shocks. I do know that the car had the spring recall/replacement done before I purchased, and that that might be covering the bad shocks. So, anyone pinpointed to one or the other, or just easier to replace shocks and bushings in the spring, with somethng like the Talieffero poly bushings? And adding the steering/shock brace, to clean up the front end. Appreicate any help.
