2004 9-3 Fixes for trunk spring and ashtray?

Thanks to all who reply in advance…… I am having 2 minor issues:
1. When I open (or even close my trunk) the spring tends to make a springy “boing” sound, as if they’ve been pluck like a guitar string. I peeked around theme and visually they look good. Just curious if anyone has had this issue and had any fixes. I read a previous post where someone mentioned spraying it with come lithium grease???
2. When I go to open my ashtray it tends to get stuck about halfway down. I can open it all the way no problem with just a little overpressure. I was thinking maybe it was maybe just a spring or clip of some kind that can be replaced, but on saabsite all I see if replacing the whole ashtray. Kind of pricey since I don’t smoke and just use it for coins.
On a side note I saw part number 12802362 as a nice replacement option—anyone used it?? Find it interesting that the same part # seems to look a little different on 2 sites:

Thanks!!!!!
