At least on a 03 9-3 Sport Sedan they don't have a front motor mount that completely covers the dip stick like 05 and up but it is still hard to find and not really that easy to remove and check from above.
Most car makers has done away with owner fluid checks for transmissions and left it for the shops when the car is up in the air. BMW has been that way for a long time.
Radiator drain plug can only be accessed by removing the right air guide behind spoiler and then use a special slot socket to open the drain cock. Not easy at all if you are laying on the ground trying to see where it is.
