Agree with John's suggestions. Mainly the 1st bow piston and sometimes the line up through the top to the piston. Saab has TSB on routing the line if replaced to prevent damage to the new unit.
See many many 1st bow piston failures here in FL where everyone drives a 9-3 convertible. Currently have six on VOR order with Saab, no ETA. The newer units are redesigned to isolate the fluid cavity away from the lock pin for the piston where the seals go bad. In the last six months have seen two vehicles with blown tonneau cover pistons (also backordered). Oddly both sides were blown on both vehicles. Yet to see a failure on the cover mechanism that John mentions.
