I don't think they tried too hard Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Thu, 29 Dec 2011 15:11:23 In Reply to: Re: Broken front spring on 2006 9-3SC 2.0T (Long), Steve T., Thu, 29 Dec 2011 13:43:43 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
They already knew that new parts cannot yet be ordered. They may or may not have contacted other Dealerships. I think the "no aftermarket parts available" was based on assumption and not any extensive effort to find new springs.
I did appreciate the offer of a free loaner until parts could be located, even though I decided to go another way. My local Dealership, Suburban Chevy/Cadillac/Saab in Ann Arbor, has always tried very hard to please their Saab customers.
