The 2006 "might" have the drain cock at bottom of water pump also. They were discontinued at around that year for a regular plug that is glued in place with Loctite.
You can reach that drain plug after removing right wheel and using an 11mm wrench.
That will drain additional fluid out.
If it has a regular plug with no drain cock, it is no use trying to crack it open since the Loctite is the worst they could find. They did not want you to open that ever again.
