I appologize for the brevity of my initial post. I was posting from my smartphone. I've done some research on WIS since i arrived home. I was hoping that the level sensor and the pressure sensor were the same, but unfortunately, they're not. The engine seems to be running fine and not making any of the loud tapping noises you might expect in a low oil pressure condition. I left the car sit for a couple hours and the oil level was right at the top of the hash marks. When I first turned it off, the oil was showing about .5 qt low, which I think is normal for this car. So, I guess it could be the pump, or hopefully a faulty sensor. I was curious if anyone else has seen this issue on the 2.8T. I plan to contact the garage (old SAAB dealer) in the morning to see if I should drive it in for repair or have it towed. Any input is appreciated and I'll post an update when something changes.
