Misfire sputter, but it's not misfiring! Posted by Nathan [Email] (#2249) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Nathan) on Wed, 6 Feb 2013 17:35:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hello gang! For the past few months I've been trying to track down a very slight sputter sensation when accelerating. Feels exactly like the car is misfiring, or has a bad coil pack. However, the coil packs and spark plugs are new, gapped correctly and are genuine Saab/ NGK NGK PFR6D-10G. Also the car when started hot will sometimes sputter at idle, and die. The CEL is not on, I've never had a misfire code, just a P0442 code a few months ago that cleared itself. The throttle body, MAF are clean, I have no leaking vacuum hoses, the Compressor bypass valve diaphragm isn't torn. And I use Chevron 91 octane fuel. Any thoughts?? Thanks!
