You will need a brake caliper retractor kit containing an adapter with two circular pins placed 24mm apart to compress/retract the rear piston. You may be able to borrow such a kit. This same adapter is used on some Volvo brakes and the BMW Mini brakes.
Akebono makes two different rear brake pads for the 9-3SS family which differ only in the attachment method. I installed the early style (smaller numeric P/N) with the butterfly style springs which grip a groove machined in the piston on my '06. Early or Later style (with bunny ear springs protruding above the pad) should both fit your '07, one syle may be cheaper.
