Backing out of my garage this morning I stepped on the brake pedal to stop backing up and the pedal was FIRM and the car wouldn't stop. I had to really lay into it. Same pulling forward in my driveway. As I sat there the pedal softened. But if I pumped it a few times it would harden up. I pulled out onto the road to go around the block (got the engine revving a bit more) and it began to perform normally, so I got to work with no issues. I'm guess it's a vacuum issue. Is there a check valve or a pump or something I should be focusing on? No warnings or lights on the dash.
Thanks!
