If you have an 03-04 the curved seal is thinner and the right action is to replace the whole pump with 05 and up which have a deeper groove for the thicker seal.
But also, just as much, the non obtainable rubber seal between the metal housing and sheet metal cup is old and leak.
I always replace that o-ring too using a transmission driver housing o-ring from 94 and up manual transmission that fit pretty good.
If your budget is limited, you can fill the curved groove with a good quality silicone sealer like the Nissan one I use for special occasions and get it tight but you need to have all surfaces clean and no oil dripping in between.
