Power seats get power when you open the door so it's possible you're hitting a memory button sliding onto the seat. In the later models of the 9-3 they wised up and moved the memory buttons to the SIDE of the seat. I'm the only one who drives my car regularly so I set all three memory functions to the same preset to minimize risk of inadvertently changing anything.
To move the seat you need to hold the memory button down. This is so you can stop the seat from crushing you into the steering wheel. The mirrors will adjust fully with just one push of the memory preset buttons.
