My passenger side Xenon HID high beam on my 04 ARC is burnt out. Bought a new bulb and it works fine except the high stays on, won't kick down to low as the driver side does. I determined the high must have burnt out being on continuously and the middle was toast. I know swapping the ignitors from side to side is the test, but before I start tearing the driver side apart to get at the ignitor, does this sound like an ignitor failure? Since the bulb and switch work, I figure its not a ballast failure. Anyone have something similar happen and what was the fix? Thanks for the help. Oh and whats the secret to getting the ballast back onto the bulb. I know you have to line up the slots and rotate it to lock it in, but what a major PITA. Maybe I'm getting to old to work on her. Thanks again.
